The idea for Quantifiable Soft Tissue Manipulation (QSTM) originated from Terry Loghmani, PT, Ph.D., Associate Professor Department of Physical Therapy / School of Health and Human Sciences, Indiana University in Indianapolis, and Director of the Applied Regenerative Medicine Lab. Dr. Lohgmani is a Physical Therapist, Orthopedic Manual Therapist, Massage Therapist, and an Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) expert whose research has helped advance the manual therapies field.
As a foundational trainer with The Graston Technique (IASTM), Dr. Loghmani witnessed the variability in the therapy tools used by the hands of different therapists as well as patient outcomes. She set out to develop a tool that would consistently measure the force, angle, cadence, and area for therapists in real-time.

Precision Care Technologies’ QSTM transforms the subjective into objective through quantified, measurable outcomes.
There are 63 million work, sport, and other injuries in the U.S., representing $1.28T in costs, supported by Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Athletic Trainers, and other rehab specialists, according to research.
There are millions of physical therapy-related visits per year, of which an estimated 70-80% include soft tissue manual therapy. However, soft tissue manual therapy is mostly subjective, without sufficient measurable ways to capture treatment history, process, and outcomes.
This can lead to variability in care, discrepancies in patient experience, and little objective clinical data to support outcomes improvements and the development of a consistent standard of care.
To revolutionize manual therapy by empowering clinicians with innovative tools that deliver measurable precision, ensuring consistent outcomes and elevating the standard of care.
To transform the future of soft tissue therapy, bridging technology and expertise to create a world where every patient receives exceptional, data-driven care.
